Anjali Lark - gift or offering. Indeed, this sweet baby is a gift from God. On a warm September night, Carrie labored with strength and beauty. Graham remained by her side, her steady support. I arrived at 11:30 pm. Just ten minutes after I received Graham's phone call. Her labor progressed so quickly that the baby's head was crowning when the midwife flew up the stairs. One push and sweet Anjali was born at 11:55 pm, in the caul, weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces. 

We spent the next few hours marveling at this new life and the wonder that is pregnancy and birth.
