Denver Birth Photographer - the Peaceful Water Birth of Millie

Maggie and I met at church, and we connected over birth, breastfeeding, and navigating life in Colorado Springs. When she got pregnant with Millie, I was so excited for both her and her family. I knew that Cora (her older daughter) would be an amazing big sister. She's one of those toddlers that is both peaceful and calm (very unlike my spirited daughter) and I could easily imagine her taking on the role of big sister with joy and ease. 

Like me, Maggie had her first baby at a hospital. When she got pregnant with Millie, she wanted a very different birth experience and decided to have her second baby at home. Maggie's birth was beautiful - full of peace - and two of my later birth clients (who happened to be Maggie's best friends) were there to witness their first birth. One of the many things I love about birth photography is that it shows women that there are so many different options and choices available...and hopefully encourages them to search out the birth team and environment that best meets their individual needs and desires.
