Brand New Babies in 2019

One of the coolest things about our job as birth photographers is seeing how unique each baby is as soon as they enter our world. From the very first minutes of life, a baby’s personality is often front and center.

I run into past clients often, and even though I haven’t seen their kiddos in years (often since that first hour or two postpartum) I instantly recognize the toddler or preschooler or kindergartener running around. I flash back to the moment they were snuggled up against their parent’s chest, looking up at me and taking in our world.

So much has changed…and yet so much remains the same.

Because yes - birth is all about biology and reproduction - but it’s also spiritual and magical too. These little beings enter the world with these fully developed souls tucked inside baby bodies. And as you look through these images, I think you’ll be able to see what I’m talking about.
